Nuestra casa
New Santa Fe style home with a private courtyard surrounding a kiva fireplace. We designed our home for maximum light/passive solar with the north and south french doors oriented for views of the surrounding bluffs and cliffs. Our super dark night skies are perfect for star-gazing, with a deck and hot tub right off the master bedroom. Comes with fully equipped kitchen and high-speed internet, satellite TV, full entertainment center with stereo speakers throughout the house.
We'll supply the mountain bikes for the slickrock trails of Moab (and Bluff!), water crafts for the local San Juan river, Lake Powell or beyond, a spotting scope for birds, cliffs and stars, and maps and guidebooks to get you there. If you need a car we can arrange to leave our 2008 Kia 4WD SUV. Come and explore!

Our home is in the center of the "four-corners" - a vast region encompassing portions of Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah containing America’s largest concentration of national parks and monuments. Some of America’s most diverse scenery can be found here – Arches, Canyonlands, Mesa Verde, Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon and Natural Bridges National Parks/Monuments, Lake Powell, Monument Valley to name just a few. Remote canyons, slickrock hiking/biking, fascinating geologic features and the remnants of prehistoric cultures are found everywhere.
Bluff is a small community of archaeologists, outdoor guides, artists and river runners. Super quiet, relatively remote, with few restaurants, one (great) coffee shop and no bars nor nightlife, this is the place to come to get away. Even a car is optional - just walk up Cottonwood Wash to discover Anasazi ruins/petroglyphs, hidden springs and swimming holes.

David is a University Professor and Marti is retired after working as a professional archaeologist then a City administrator for many years. Our "first" home is in Flagstaff, Arizona. He loves mountain biking and rock climbing and she hiking, history, museums and beaches/snorkeling. We found we spent so much time in the four corners area we decided to build our dream home there.
