Our home is located in a very quiet, tree-lined suburb only minutes from major shopping centres, restaurants, parks, cinemas, golf courses & sports complex.

We are situated 30 kilometres North West of the heart of Sydney. This makes it easy to enjoy the Sydney lifestyle, but allows you to return to the quiet, non crowded, and family safe suburb.

Our home includes a resort style inground pool, fully covered entertaining patio area with a gas stainless steel BBQ , large plasma TV, wireless internet access, PS3, BluRay/DVD player, Wii, ample landscaped front & back yard with kids games room!!

Our home sleeps 6 in comfort with 4 queen bedrooms (consisting of 1 x king bed, 1 x queen bed, 2 x singles), 2 full sized bathrooms & powder room.

The main bedroom is equipped with a full sized ensuite including spa bath. The house has fully ducted reverse cycle air conditioning to keep you cool on those long balmy summer days. Our kitchen has recently been fully renovated with full polyurethane cupboards & stone benchtops! The kitchen is equipped with all stainless steel appliances including a double door fridge with ice/water machine, dishwasher etc.

Our car which is a Audi Q7 can be available for your personal use during your stay in our home. It would be greatly appreciated if a vehicle were available for our use also.

A cleaning, garden & pool service can be provided while staying in our home – so you can truly enjoy your vacation!!!

Our home is located in Kellyville in the Hills District of Sydney (www.thehills.nsw.gov.au) which is renown for being an upmarket neighbourhood which offers a relaxed & quiet lifestyle while still being close enough to all the bright lights of Sydney.

Our street is very quiet with only residents entering & our house is directly opposite a cul-de-sac. Our neighbours are wonderful & would be more than happy to help you in anyway needed (you will probably end up there for a bbq or two during your stay!) Most of our neighbours are families & there are always children outside in the street playing, riding bikes, skateboards, scooters – perfect for a visiting family with children.

Manly, Bondi and other beaches are just one hours drive away. Easy freeway access to the Hunter Valley (wine region), North and South Coasts and Canberra. Ride the River Cat from Parramatta (20 minute drive) into Sydney or take a day trip to the Blue Mountains (www.bluemts.com.au) or check out Jenolan Caves (www.jenolancaves.org.au). The Koala Park Sanctuary is also located within a 10 minute drive from our home (www.koalapark.com/myweb2/default.htm)

Major shopping centres, Castle Towers (www.castletowers.com.au) or Rouse Hill Town Centre (www.rhtc.com.au) are also a 5 minute drive to Castle Hill or Rouse Hill.

Sydney is one of the most beautiful cities in the world & summer is the most popular time to visit with temperatures regularly hitting the mid-30s (90-95F). Sydney has a mediterranean style climate, with plenty of sunshine and cool ocean breezes to cool things down in summer.

There are many FREE community events including New Year's Eve fireworks over Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera/Symphony/Jazz in the Park, Sydney Olympic Park, The Rocks Markets to name a few.

I am more than happy to provide information on sightseeing for Sydney, along with directions, brochures, times, alternate travel if you did not wish to drive. Just let me know what interests you!

We were lucky enough to live our dream & experience a northern winter & white Christmas in the USA during Dec/Jan 2011, with two wonderful home exchanges.

We would love to visit the USA again but we are really open to any destination in the world.

We love to travel with our children - so just ask!!

We love love love tropical locations but also being a ski/snowboard loving family, cold weather would also suit us, with access to skiing.

Our family consists of Grant, Dy, Wil & Jada-Blu. We have been happily married for 13 years & have two wonderful children – Wil (10 1/2 yrs) is soccer mad, & our daughter Jada-Blu (6) loves her dance classes & all things Barbie!!

Grant is a Detective Sergeant with the NSW Police Force (www.police.nsw.gov.au) & I, own & run our own business called WillowBlu (www.willowblu.com) from home.

We are a very easy going, fun-loving, outdoor-sy family, and we love nothing more than hanging by our pool during Aussie long hot summers.

We have a 7 yr old Siberian Husky called Jemma who would be more than happy to laze around & just be in your company. She is a very gentle natured dog – fantastic with children & just a sweetheart. If you are not a dog lover or simply do not want the responsibility of looking after a dog while on vacation (I understand), alternate accomodation for Jemma can be easily arranged.

We enjoy having a tidy, clean home (well I do, not sure about the kids, haha) and would look after yours as if it were our own. We are a non-smoking family & would appreciate no smoking inside our home. Our car, an Audi Q7 is available for your use while staying in our home (insurances can be arranged).
