Sleeps 4/6. located on the historic Ashton Canal, quirky 2 double bedroom apartment with a double sofa-bed in the living room. Situated within a secure gated development, this canal-side garden apartment benefits from beautiful water views, a private sunny garden, further residents garden and secure allocated tandem parking for two cars. A short stroll along the canal tow path provides easy access to the Northern Quarter, Piccadilly and all that Manchester has to offer.

Accessed through it's own private garden, every room in this modern apartment enjoys a peaceful aspect overlooking the canal and basin. Enjoy the passage of canal boats whilst the local waterbirds entertain, and sip sundowners whilst the BBQ sizzles. There are 2 large fully furnished double bedrooms, an open plan living room/kitchen with breakfasting bar, a separate utility room with additional storage, and a modern bathroom. The development is fully secured and benefits from plenty of open space and private residents gardens, as well as a bicycle shed and recycling facilities. This property, the first of the Manchester urban regenerations, is a tranquil oasis, the low density of which never has and never will be repeated. Few in Manchester actually know it exists, yet it's minutes from eveything.

Accessibility
Although this is a ground floor property, access into the property is up two garden steps. It is possible to enjoy the overall facilities of the village development, and access the canal tow paths on the flat/via ramps.

Outside
Wrap around, well stocked private garden overlooking canal and basin, giving sun all day. Small herb planter. Garden bench and BBQ. Plenty of wildlife, peace and tranquility. Summer sees many canal boats pass by. Extensive shared residents gardens.

Manchester enjoys several good quality golf courses.

Short drive to indoor snowdome.

I'm Anne, a 30-odd year old female surgeon with a passion for sports and foreign travel. I was initially dragged kicking and screaming to view property in this development - I wanted a warehouse conversion for my home and that was it. Within a minute of arriving I changed my mind... I value cleanliness and comfort, a peaceful home environment, and the ability to get anywhere and do anything with ease.

This was home whilst I worked in the area, I've returned several times, and now it is my escape. Family and friends also utilise the apartment and we hope you too will appreciate just how special it is and why I could never sell!

I travel solo or with family/friends, all of us being non-smoking professionals.
