Our London flat is our second home; it's tiny but fine for a couple for a few weeks. It has one bedroom with double bed, living/dining room with sofabed for occasional guests, a very small bathroom and a tiny kitchen with cooker and microwave but no dishwasher or washing machine. If you miss the washing machine, there's a launderette very near. The flat has wi-fi for your laptop.

The flat is in a very quiet well-run block 5 minutes walk from the new Paris train terminal. 10 minutes walk from the British Museum and 30 minutes walk from Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, the National Gallery and the West End shops. The last picture is a map. The flat is in the yellow square.

Lots of restaurants not far away, or if you prefer to get your own food, Waitrose in the Brunswick Centre is a first-rate big supermarket within 5 minutes's walk

We usually prefer non-simultaneous exchanges, so that both parties can arrange timing to suit themselves. Timing is very flexible because we only use the flat occasionally.

Notre appartement a Londres est notre deuxième domicile; c'est très petit,mais assez grand pour deux personnes pour 2-3 semaines. Il y a une chambre avec lit conjugal, un salon/salle a manger avec canape/lit, une très petit salle de bain avec bain et douche, et une petite cuisine avec cuisinière et four a micro-ondes.

L'appartement est dans un building très tranquille a cinq minutes (a pied) du terminus de l'Eurostar. On peut se rendre a pied au British Museum en dix minutes et en une demi-heure a Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden et les grands magasins du West End. You can walk to many places in central London. But public transport is good. We are 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross/St Pancras and Russell Square Underground statiions. We always use the buses, which are good now if you know which one to catch!

The flat has direct rail connections within 5 minutes walk to central Paris and all the London airports. Yet it is very quiet and you can often hear the birds singing in the trees in the courtyard.

Our daughter will soon be working in Madrid and we would like to exchange there in the Spring.
We would like a week in Palermo (Sicily) at a time when it's not too hot.

We are Margaret and Mike, I'm retired and Margaret runs a charity which organizes entertainment for children in hospital. Our main home is in Wales. We have done many exchanges over the last 20 years.
