| A family home in the south west part of Amsterdam. It's a 3 floor semi-attached house, only one neighbour at our left side (quiet lady alone). A garden situated south and a balcony situated west. Livingroom, kitchen and toilet downstairs. First floor two bedrooms and a bathroom. Second floor is an utilityroom with washer and dryer and a roof top terrace. The house has everything you need, television and stereo, dishwasher. |

| The neighbourhood is called 'New Sloten', it's an island in the south west of Amsterdam with new houses (build in 1994). The area feels likes a village in a city because its quiet, safe, but very close to the city center. From our house it's a 2 minute walk to the stores and public transport. Every 5 minutes a tram leaves for the city center, it will take you there in 15 minutes. The Leidse square is 5 kilometers away. Around the corner is the busstop to Schiphol Amsterdam Airport. If you want to rent a car you can park it here for free, that is exeptional because in the city you have to pay everywhere. By car or bus or train (station nearby) you can see more then Amsterdam. We are close tot Haarlem and the beach, our political capital The Hague and of corse the "Zaanse Schans' with our windmills and wooden schoes (30 minute drive). Great quiet and safe area to stay! |

We are flexible in september and the first week of october and are looking for an exchange preferably for two weeks.

We have found an exchange and won't be available until 2011. We would love to visit America in september/october. We've visited New York last year and we fell in love! So we want to see more. We are looking for a nice home from where we can visit a city and his surroundings. If it's New York we would like to stay in Manhattan or in Brooklyn.

We are Epke (female, it's a Dutch name ;-) and Sebastiaan. We are living here now for three years with our two cats, Tom and Kiwi. Epke is 33 and Sebastiaan is 29. Epke is a secretary at a consultancy firm and Sebastiaan works as a projectmanager for a company that makes digital magazines. We both love Amsterdam and everything it has to offer. We often go to the center(by scooter) to have dinner in one of the many nice restaurants we have here in Amsterdam. We also have a boat, so when the weather is good we take our picknickbasket and sail through the canals. We also like to read, offcorse we love our cats and Sebastiaan likes riding his motorbike. Our sweet cats need care (food and drink and a bit of love ;-) They go outdoors also. We would like to take care of your pets as well if needed. We are a neat couple and handle your house as if it is our own.
