We have found our exchange for Canada 2010, thanks. But, our home could be available during end Sept/early Oct 2010 as we are doing a non-simultaneous exchange at this time.
We are also looking for a large family home on the beach on the Gold Coast (preferably Byron area) as we are hoping to spend time with our extended family for our first visit home with baby Cooper in Jan 2011.
For end July/Aug 2011, we are looking for a comfortable 3-4 bedroom home in Italy(Lake Como area, or open to other ideas - preferably with pool or very close to beach access) which we can share with our parents for 1-2 weeks. Our Amsterdam home will not be available for exchange as our home is likely to be used by another exchanger already at this time, although our apartment on the Gold Coast in Australia will be available. If you prefer, other dates, including long Weekends, are possible to visit Amsterdam.
We could swap either our home in beautiful historical centre of Amsterdam on one of the best canals, or a condo on the Gold Coast of Australia for non-simultaneous exchange.

A lovely 3 level apartment in the centre of Amsterdam with own private roof terrace, walking distance to museums, art galleries, main tourist attractions, cafes, restaurants, bars, etc.....with several tram stops just 2-3 mins walk.
Accommodates up to 6 adults: 2 double bedrooms - one with King and one with Queen bed, 1 attic bedroom can be double or single, and a small baby room with cot. 2 bathrooms, 3 separate toilets (one on each level).
Separate dining room with table and 8 chairs, living room with cable tv, study with internet access, roof terrace and a small gym room. Many board games and also foosball table. Also, we have 2 typical Amsterdam bikes (Oma & Opafiets) for easy getting around town, plus a bakfiets (box bike for carrying baby or shopping).
We also have a membership to 'Greenwheels' which is a community car programme which could also be used for day trips outside of city centre, if desired, although trains trams and buses, or bicycles, are often more convenient.
As an alternative, we have a 2bedroom, 2 bathroom condo on Coolangatta Beach, on the Gold Coast in Australia. It is a holiday home so available year round for swaps. Accommodates 2 adults in Master bedroom with ensuite (Queen bed) and 2 children in 2nd smallish bedroom (2 single beds), with facilities including onsite management/reception, pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts. Ocean views from master bedroom and living rooms. It is directly opposite one of the best surf beaches in Australia. Apartment is located in the heart of Coolangatta, with shops, restaurants & cinemas all at your doorstep.

Jan 2011 - best timing is mid to end of Jan, for around 2 weeks. This will be our first trip home to see family since our boy was born, so we will need the time for all the family to visit us and spend some quality time.
July/Aug 2011 - prefer last week July, early Aug - for summer getaway with parents. We will be 5-6 adults 1year old boy, so a spacious home with some outdoor entertaining space would be ideal.
Other dates we are open to suggestions on location/timing. Also, we would consider non-simultaneous exchanges for Gold Coast, Australia for any length of time. In Amsterdam, we could also do non-simultaneous including long weekends.

We are an expat professional couple, David 40 and Toni 38 with a brand new baby Cooper, who thoroughly enjoy all that a great European city like Amsterdam has to offer. We have been lucky enough to live in many cities as a result of our careers taking us abroad (Sydney, Cape Town, Athens, Brussels & Amsterdam).
