Nuestra casa
Our house is quite new - just 4 years old - well lit by natural light and pleasantly cool in summer. Upstairs has 4 bedrooms (main with ensuite), large rumpus/childrens lounge area, childrens bathroom, computer/study area (with broadband) and a small external balcony. Downstairs has the kitchen, lounge room, TV room (with cable TV), 3rd bathroom, laundry and large external patio for outdoor entertaining. The garage has internal access. The backyard has a decent sized swimming pool - where the kids spend a lot of their summer, and there are swings and a tree house too!

Nuestro barrio
Turramurra is a leafy northern (executive) suburb about 25 minutes drive from Sydney's CBD (35 minutes by train - a station is 5 mins away). There is easy access to many bush walking/running/riding trails and the national parks which border the waterways in Sydney's north. The area has an excellent cross section of restaurants (from many nationalities) and there are several large shopping centres (malls) within a short drive. The northern beaches of Sydney (Manly, Narrabeen, etc) are 30 minutes by car. If you've never been to Sydney - our house offers an ideal location to view all of the sights of the city and the surrounding areas, plus is a modern & confortable base to return for relaxing and unwinding.
Sydney has an array of great day activites - including the opera house, harbour bridge climb, the blue mountains (90mins), boating/kayaking in the national parks, the Sydney zoo, harbour cruises etc.

We're more than happy to help plan your trip to Australia. Nuestros destinos
We are looking for a medium term exchange of 3-6 months to either the French/Swiss Alps (or possibly the US Rockies) starting in mid/late 2013.
Nosotros
We (Nick & Alison) lead an active family of 5 - we have a 14 y.o. boy, plus 12 & 7 y.o. girls - who love to travel and experience different climates. We're relatively new to the house exchange idea (1 exchange to the USA in Dec 2010) but we are keen to try some more. I'm self employed in the medical device industry, my wife works part time.
