I own an apartment in Central London, in Spitalfields.

Location

The apartment is perfectly located. It is 3 minutes walk from Brick Lane, and 5 minutes walk from Spitalfields Market and the City. It is 11 minutes walk from Liverpool St. Station. This means that you are just two stops by underground to St Pauls (which you can also reach on foot) and you are just 4 stops from Covent Garden and 5 stops from Oxford Street/Bond Street.

The apartment is located on a quiet street in a red-brick building which is four floors high. The building is well maintained and clean. There are a total of 30 flats and the neighbours are nice and quiet. The building was built in the 60s.

The Apartment

The Apartment is very nice, modern and cosy, with a balcony (with awnings, table, bench, reclining lounger). It is on two floors and so you have the impression to be in a house, which is nice. There is one large living room with 2 leather sofas, dining table, TV, freeview, dvd player etc. The living room leads to the balcony. The kitchen has a breakfast table, washer dryer, American Fridge Freezer, gas cooker and everything else you would need. The bathroom os modern and very clean. There are two bedrooms. However, only one will be available for the exchnage as the other is occupied by my lodger who is a very respectful and clean professional who works in the City. There is a cleaner who cleans the apartment every week. The bedroom you will have has a flat screen tv, plenty of storagea nd double bed. It is very nice. The picture I have downloaded is that of the other bedroom as I did not have a picture at hand (since I am on holioday). However, it should give you an idea although please note that my bedroom has one window and not two like in the picture.

I am a lawyer. I am Italian and am 33 years old. I am quiet and will be very respectful of your property as I would expect you to be of mine.

Transport

The apartment is perfectly located. It is surrounded by underground stations:

1) Whitechapel st. at 5 minutes walk (district, overground, hammersmith)
2) Shoreditch High Street. at 5 minutes walk (overgound)
3) Liverpool Street St. at 11 min walk (central, northern, district, circle, hammersmith)

There are also several buses which you could use to go everywhere. Just check the TFL website.

A station with the new hiring bycicles is located just around the corner from the flat at 1 minute walk. This means that you can cycle for free for 30 minutes or 1 hour for only one pound. There are bycicle stations at every corner in Central London, which means you can move around for free if you park your bycicle every half an hour at one of the stations.

The Exchange

I would love to spend 10 days or up to two weeks in Manhatttan, preferably close to 59st but I am open to offers. I would like to be there from mid October but the exchnage does not need to be simoultaneous because I am away every year at Christmas for two weeks, one week in Feb or March, one week at Easter and two weeks in August.

Spitalfields is a great vibant area, full of artists and very nice boutiques. It is a very unique area. There numerous restaurants and you can vist the famous Spitalfields Market and Brick Lane. The City is also just round the corner. You are just 20 or minutes away from museums and all other tourist attractions.
