Our house (country house style) offers with 5.5 rooms and 180 square meters enough room for a family of up to about 6 person.
Beside the master bedroom we have a room for our daughter with a junior bed (for up to about 10y) and study with a full sized comfortable convertable bed (2 person). Another convertable bed for 2 is in our "fitness / cinema room".
We have one large bathroom with tub and shower on the upper floor and one WC on the groundfloor, broadband (wireless) internet, cable tv (digital, with some English channels), well equiped kitchen (dishwasher,...), fire place, direct access from basement garage. A notebook computer may be used with restricted rights.

Our home cinema system consists of an HD Beamer and a 5.1 digital dolby surround sound system (PC with Internet access and DVD drive). In the same room we have our (fitness) Cross Trainer (Kettler Elyx 5) as well as some other tools.
A nice garden offers plenty of space to relax and enjoy. For the kids there's a 3.5m slide and various toys inside and outside the house. For smaller kids there's a 3x2x0.6m pool which may be set up in summer.

We have 3 bycicles, 2 with electric support as well as a trailer for one kid up to about 6 yrs.

A car exchange is preferred (family car, 5 seats).



If you like to visit the south of Switzerland and go hiking, climbing and such, you're welcome to stay at our holiday apartement in Chermignon VS. The place is simple equiped, is just a little below Crans Montana in an old town and offers space for 4 persons.
Crans Montana has several (international) golf courses. Just 100m outside Chermignon you'll find a 9-hole course open to public where we somethimes try our luck.

Located at the edge of the town of Frauenfeld in a quiet and preferred neighbourhood, our house offers a view over the town - and from the backyard a view towards grassland and forrest.
Long walks / hikes can start right at our house through farmland and forrest, along the river Thur, streams and up hills.

The town center is only 1km away and can be reached by foot (20min) or by bus. The next larger city (Winterthur) can be reached in 10 min by train/car. To the airport (20min) and Zurich (35min) are two direct trains every hour. Lake Bodensee (Konstanz) and the German border can be reached in 15 min by car.

Frauenfeld has a nice public outdoor bath with several pools, long slides etc. If you prefer swimming in lakes/rivers there are several possibilities and take a 5 to 15min drive by car.

Bern 90 min by car / train
South Switzerland 2 - 3 hours car / train
Munich (Germany) 3 hours car / train
Paris 1 h by plane, 6 - 7 hours by car / train
London 1 h by plane

It may be possible to exchange RVs too - or only the RVs without the houses....

Willkommen in der Euregio-Bodensee
Der Bodensee und Untersee ist eine der schönsten Urlaubsregionen. Die abwechslungsreiche Landschaft ist ein Eldorado für Sportbegeisterte und Erholungssuchende. Wobei eine Zunahme des Tourismus den Erholungssuchenden eher einschränkt als bereichert. Denn wo viele Menschen sind, ist meist der Lärm nicht weit. Stille Orte am See in der Hochsaison muss man sich selbst suchen.

There are three of us: Bernhard 36 (science teacher) my wife Lynn 35 (jewellery designer) and our daughter Jana 3. We like to travel and visit/explore new places. We enjoy nature, hiking, cycling.....

I do all kinds of sports (cycling, skiing, para gliding, diving,...), Lynn is into art, photography and reading....
