Our flat is near Paris, at the top of a walk-up but low-rise building (3rd floor).
The building, which was erected during the sixties, is standing right in front of a forest, that you can see from the French windows in the living/dining room. It is surrounded by a quite quiet area, in an appartment complex of two other small buildings. Parking and car are available at the bottom of the building, in a netted area.
The flat, which was restored five years ago, is light and bright, specially its living/dining room, which has a lovely balcony full of flowers, as well as a full HD flat screen and a small desk with a Mac. Our flat has all appliances you may need -stove, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier ...-. Two of the three bedrooms have queen beds with new matresses, and one has its own balcony along with French doors, to let the sunshine in during the morning. In the last bedroom stands a beautiful secretaire, for those who like writing. Floors are hardwood (apart from those in the kitchen and in the bathroom), and the whole house has wireless internet.

We live in Clamart, a beautiful suburb near Paris. It is linked to Paris Montparnasse by the Transilien in about ten minutes, and it takes around 15 minutes to arrive at Clamart's railway station by car, or by bus. Even if our appartment is not in the center of Paris, it offers a huge advantage : you can decide to leave it for a long walk in the woods -which are not gloomy at all- as well as for a visit of the heart of Paris. It is perfect if you have small children!

This is our main home, so a non simultaneous exchange is impossible for us if not during the school vacation.

We basically leave our home during school vacation.

Christmas : December 31 - January 5
Spring : April 27 - April 11
Summer : Months of June and August

This summer, above all, we'd love to come back in the USA and spend between two and three weeks there ; maybe spend some time in Europe.

We are open to long weekends in places not too far from Paris. (London, Brugge, Milano, ...)
Nous sommes ouverts à toutes propositions de (longs) weekends en bord de mer dans le Nord de la France, ou en Belgique...

Otherwise, we love to travel, and to discover new places. Surprise us!

We are a family of three. My wife, Véronique, is a librarian, and I ,Yves, work in the medico-social.
Our son, Florian, studies in la Sorbonne. Us three are fond of travelling, and are -of course- very careful house guests.
