With its great weather, miles of sandy beaches, and major attractions, San Diego is known worldwide as one of the best travel destinations.

Our home is beautifully decorated and recently remodeled home 1.5 miles from the beach. We have two bedrooms (a master with a queen bed and en suite bathroom; a guest bedroom with two single beds), two full bathrooms, office, family room and "great room" (living room, kitchen and dining room). You will enjoy our back yard patio and our deck (with an amazing panoramic view) on top of the garage. Our gardener comes once a week; our cleaning service every 2 weeks.

We are located in the Pt. Loma area of San Diego. It is a friendly upscale neighborhood with a 10-minute drive to Sea World, Seaport Village, & downtown San Diego. We are a 20 minute drive to Balboa Park & La Jolla. Legoland and SeaLife Aquarium are a 45 minute drive. Disneyland is a 90 minute drive. We live close to Shopping Centers, Restaurants, Supermarkets, & Movie Theaters.

During the summer, you will enjoy the Sea World fireworks every night. Other seasons the fireworks are displayed on weekends.

A visit to the San Diego Wild Animal Park is like a safari to many of the world's most exotic places.

World-renowned Balboa Park is home to fifteen museums, various arts and international culture associations, as well as the San Diego Zoo, making it one of the nation's largest cultural and entertainment complexes.

For golfers, within a 5-minute drive from our home is the new and improved Sail Ho Golf Club features redesigned fairways, greens and practice facilities. Sail Ho also offers a new clubhouse, featuring a pro-shop with all the amenities, breakfast and lunch menus at The Sail Ho Bar & Grill that is a full service bar. Purchase 10 rounds for $100.

We are retired educators with three grown children. We have been married for 26 years, and love traveling. We worked with the Deaf, so are fluent in American Sign Language.

We have two kyaks and two bicycles you can borrow. We have a Honda CRV which is easy to drive and comfortable for travel.

We will care for your home just as our own. We are looking forward to not only exchanging our home, but making new friends and would love to meet you!
