A spacious (220 sq m) house for 1-2 families (9 persons) in Molndal/Gothenburg. Our home is decorated and furnished in a light, modern, scandinavian style.

The ground floor: a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room with fire place and dining area, direct access to the garden, a study with an Internet accessed computer (also wifi), a bathroom, a single bed bedroom and a double bed bedroom.

The upper floor: Three single bed bedrooms. A living room with TV, VCR, DVD and a balcony - possible to equip with more beds. Bathroom. Laundry room.

A large (850 sq m) green garden. Terrace with dining place. Barbeque. Lawn to play on. On a sunny day you can find shadow under the cherry tree.

Our home is situated on a quiet street in a residential area, 6 km south of Gothenburg centre. You will find a bus stop, two play grounds, a fruit and vegetable shop, a pizza shop and a bakery within a couple of minutes walk. Grocery stores, drug store and many other stores in the local town center at 10 minutes walk. 10 minutes walk away you will also find a forest with great hiking opportunities.

Only ten minutes by car to the sea, lakes and Gothenburg City. In Gothenburg there are plenty of shops, nice restaurants and interesting sights. This could be your "ground base" to explore the west coast of Sweden. Lot of nice nature and interesting sights nearby. We will be happy to provide you with internet links and tourist information.

Our home is situated so that you easily can reach different parts of Scandinavia. A ferry takes you to the north of Denmark in three hours. You can also reach Stockholm, Oslo/Norway or Copenhagen/Denmark my car within a four hours drive.

No smoking. Child friendly. Car exchange possible. We are experienced exchangers and would provide you with any information you need to have a great visit here. We have made successful exchanges in Denmark, England, France and California.

2-4 weeks in summer 2012 any time between the 20th of June - 10th of August.

We are also interested in shorter exchanges during autumn/winter/spring. Our children have school breaks in autumn and at easter.

We would live to visit Great Britain again.

We are also very interested in visiting the East Coast of USA, we would love to visit New York/New Jersey/Connecticut. We look for a place were we can go sightseeing and maybe also be close to a beach.

Any mediterranean town/village is of great interest.

It would also be nice to visit Spain, France, Italy, Croatia, Irland, Hungary, Czeckia and many other places. Both cities with cultural sights and a beautiful countryside would interest us. Access to a beach or a pool is of course especially appealing.

We are also interested in an exchange with a well equipped Caravan (RV). Maybe you want to exchange your Caravan with our home during Gothia Cup - the worlds largest youth tournament in football (soccer) in July.

We are also open for exchanges on extended week-ends or during the autumn school break or Easter. Maybe to some of Ryan Airs direct destinations from Gothenburg: Alicante, Barcelona, Dublin, Frankfurt, Glasgow, London, Madrid, Marseille or Milano.

We are a family of five. I am a principle and my husband is an engineer with Ericsson and also a Rotary member. Our children are 16 and 17 (girls) and 19 (a boy, currently studying in USA) years old. They are well behaved and we would take good care of your home. Cats to look after is no problem.

We speak english and some german and french (not fluent).
