Beautiful and modern appartement in a quiet area of Oslo. Big garden in the back only for the residents of the building. The appartement has a veranda with its own staircase to the garden. Partial view to the Holmenkollen ski-jump. Parking is usually no problem right out side, should you choose to rent a car.

The appartement is fully furnished with scandinavian design furniture. Two bedrooms (one king size and one single bed), seperate WC and bathroom with tropical rain shower. Fireplace in the livingroom, washer, dryer, dishwasher and fridge.

2 min walk to metro, bus stop directly outside the doorstep. Only 5 stops with the metro to Oslo's biggest shopping street. Grocery store across the road. "Nordmarka" (the woods) is within walking distance and has great hiking possibilities. The beach as well as ski facilities is only a bus drive away.

The area that we live in is called Taasen and is known to be upscale with alot of villas. Taasen is a little peaceful spot thats still very close to Norways biggest city centre, Oslo. This is one of Oslo's characteristics - Short distance between "country" and city.

Norway is cold in the winter, but can get very hot in the summer. However the weather is unpredictable. Be prepared for anything. And yes you CAN bathe in the ocean in the summer. May 17th is Norways national day and is something to see. Google it if you don't know anything about it. You will taste the best strawberries if your life if you visit in the
summer.

Know that norwegians are usually very good in english, so you should have no problems communicating.

We can be flexible on shorter time periods, but for a long exchange it will have to be between June and August.

We are open to any place that has warm temperatures and that is sunny. Exchange is only possible with people who speak english or any scandinavian language.
