Nuestra casa
This recently renovated three-story house features a spacious interior overlooking a quiet, tree-lined, residential street. The house has an open floor plan and custom chef's kitchen, four bedrooms, and three full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a jacuzzi. It also has a piano, four flat-screen TVs, a built-in stereo system, and a treadmill and recumbent bike. It has a large, finished basement, furnished outdoor deck in the backyard, and dining room, living room, and bright sun room.
Nuestro barrio
Our home is located in the heart of Washington D.C.'s Chevy Chase neighborhood, which is 15 minutes to downtown D.C., with easy access to public transportation, both trains and buses. Shops, restaurants, a movie theater, and a supermarket are only three blocks away. The home is in a residential area with a gourmet market and park with several playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball courts, and a baseball field. It is also in close proximity to Rock Creek Park, a national park with hiking, biking, and running trails.
Washington DC is an exciting, diverse city with many neighborhoods to explore. Our city has phenomenal museums of every kind, and most are free. Our city also has a rich history and is, of course, the center of power in the United States, so there is much to see and do. DC is an important city with a small-town feel. It is a very manageable city to explore. We have first-class restaurants and opportunities for both exciting nightlife and family-friendly options. There are many day trips in the area too--beaches, parks, and other points of interest.

Nosotros
We have lived in the D.C. metropolitan area for the past 25 years. Rob is a federal prosecutor and Sue is an assistant professor at a local university. One of our children is a freshman in college, and the other is a high school sophomore. We have a golden retriever named Sadie (who will be boarded elsewhere during your stay). We are looking forward to exploring new places around the world!
