Our home is a lovely modern 4 year old brick home with 4 bedrooms, 3 living areas, 2 bathrooms, study and an attractive well equipped kitchen with all the modern conveniences.

Outside is a Deck with dining area to seat 8, a BBQ and attractive garden.

The large Master Bedroom has a very comfortable and spacious King sized bed, large ensuite bathroom with bath, double vanity and twin shower, generous wardrobe space and a balcony.

Two other bedrooms have queen sized beds so the house would comfortably accommodate up to 6 people.
The fourth Bedroom doesn’t usually have a bed in it, but this could be arranged so the house could accommodate 8 people if required.

All beds have quality cotton and woolen bedding and good mattresses and pillows.

Two of the large living areas have TVs & plenty of comfortable seating – the main living area looking out over the attractive deck, lawn & back garden.
The other living area has no TV but has a piano and is a relaxing spot for quiet reading.

Both centrally heated and air conditioned, the house is tastefully furnished and decorated and is spotlessly clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable experience.

A cleaner can be organised for you at your expense if required.

We would also be happy to offer our car for exchange – A 6 year old Automatic Holden Astra.

Know as ‘The City by the Bay’ Geelong is a fun and friendly Bayside town which is large enough to have all the city comforts but still small enough to have a country feel.

Conveniently situated between Melbourne and the Surf Coast Geelong is a convenient base from which explore all the surprises that Victoria has to offer.

The Barwon River runs through Geelong’s centre and provides for many relaxing and enjoyable river walks & bike rides, and the 'Corio Bay' foreshore is alive with cafes, bars and resturants..

Our local neighbor hood has a lively & attractive shopping strip only 3 minutes drive away (25 min walk) with excellent coffee bars, gift shops, wine shops, bakeries, and has all your grocery shopping needs catered for..

We are a 50 minute drive to Melbourne which is the cultural, fashion and sporting capital of Australia and plays host to many major events including the Australian Open Tennis in January, F1 Grand Prix in March, AFL Football Apr-Sep, Melbourne Cup Horse Racing in Nov as well as ballet and the arts. Melbourne is also a city known for its world class restaurants, major theatre shows and interesting and diverse culture and architecture - often voted as one of the most livable cities in the world.

A 20 minute drive from Geelong in the other direction and you will see some of the most beautiful surf beaches in the world (such as the famous Bells Beach) Barwon Heads (home of Cycling superstar Cadel Evans) & Ocean Grove.

30 minutes will take you to the start of the famous ‘Great Ocean Road’ (Featured in the movie ‘On the beach’ & Oprah’s Australian visit) a rugged and beautiful stretch of coast line, dotted with many quaint seaside towns such as Lorne, and Apollo Bay and the history of many ship wrecks that have been buried along this wild and untamed stretch of Coast line.

Geelong/Melbourne has a temperate climate. Peak summer January & February can be hot and dry (mid 20c to high 30's celsius = 72 to 100 f)), March to May and September to December are usually excellent. Winter June - August is cool (10 -16c).

We are a married couple aged 48 and 54.

Leanne works in Administration for a Property Management Firm and Peter is an IT professional for a large wool brokerage firm.
Our daughters Stephanie & Lucy aged 21 & 19 are both University Students studying Accounting and Teaching, and they occassionally travel with us - but not always.

Recently we had our first wonderful exchange to Colorado in the USA and this has wet out appetitie for more adventure!
