New Orleans is one of those "must do" places, and the townhouse is perfectly located for experiencing NOLA. Centrally located, not only to the fun of Magazine Street but to the celebrated French Quarter, football and basketball sports arenas, downtown, the convention center, universities, museums, and oak-lined St Charles Avenue, and public transportation, like the streetcar...plus its a great pedestrian neighborhood. Fully furnished, safe, and comfortable, this spacious 3-level townhouse will help you feel at home in "The Big Easy."

Ok, - you “get” New Orleans is more than the French Quarter… and you know Magazine Street is a jewel. Now you can stay in Uptown, - right in the middle of what Magazine Street has to offer: the unique shops, authentic bars, fabulous restaurants, coffee-culture and easy transportation to all parts of the city via bus & street car, or a short taxi ride to Loyola and Tulane Universities, downtown, the convention center, basketball and football stadiums, & French Quarter.

Non-simultaneous exchanges are easy because the townhouse is not our residence but one we keep for visting family. Often, the townhouse is rented through VRBO so it is well maintained for visiting guests.

David is a retired real estate developer and Teresa teaches English/literature at a local magnet high school. We love the New Orleans culture, cuisine, and languid laid-back lifestyle most of the year, but come summer when school is on holiday,- we love to travel to areas that have access to nature, especially great hiking.
