Our home is a very light and modern 3 bedroom aparment, with a large combined kitchen/living room. There´s a big dining place in the kitchen if you don´t prefer to sit on the sunny balcony for the meals. The apartments contains all new appliances such as dishwasher, washing mashine and a tiptop stove. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and an extra crib for small children. The next bedroom is a children´s room with a bunk and the third contains one bed (but here you can put our extra bed) and is a combined computer room. Of course you can also sleep on the sofa, or put up extra matresses in the living room. Both the apartment and it´s surroundings is newly built and is well adjusted for children and disabled people.

In front of the house, there is a popular park with a children´s playground. In just a two minutes walk, you´ll reach a sun deck where you can swim in lake Mälaren, this is a lovely place for a swim, in daytime as well as in the evenings. If you walk on for another two minutes, you´ll find Årstaskogen, a green area well suitable for picnics or a run in the forest.

The apartment is located in central Stockholm, with only ten minutes by subway to the central station, and this is also one of the best places in the city regarding communications; buses and tram leave from here and will take you to all of Stockholm´s attractions. On the other hand we think the nicest way to enjoy the city is by bike and course we´ll be happy to lend you ours.

We live in a part of Stockholm called Liljeholmskajen (or Årstadal). It´s a new enviromentally friendly district and the bold and futuristic architecture puts a new mark on the Stockholm map. Liljeholmskajen is an extension of Södermalm´s pulse with all its restaurants, small vintage shops and cosey cafés and combines seaside and innercity life. It doesn´t matter if you are fond of shopping, nightlife, eating out, hiking in the forest or going for a swim - here you are close to everything. In short, we like our neighbourhood a lot!

For the summer we are interested in exchanging in Sweden and in Denmark.

We are a family of four; Susanne, 38, Fredrik, 42, Olivia, 7 and Greta 11 months. We are both working as psychologists. Olivia started school this automn and Greta is still at home with her mum or dad. In the sparetime we appreciate cooking and eating out and to watch a movie (not often nowadays though...). We also to like to go for a swim and are fond of cycling (well mostly Fredrik anyway) and interior.
