Our 1912 heritage home was completely redone in 2011. We have kept the heritage look and feel but the renovations are high quality and the kitchens/baths/hi fi/TV etc.. are top of the line. Our home is located in one of the most family-friendly, community-oriented and central parts of Vancouver and visitors will find one of the most popular streets in Vancouver, Main St., only 2 blocks away (yet the street is still very quiet at night).

Our home has 3 large bedrooms upstairs with 2 bathrooms. It has a double sink, 4 piece bath for the 2 bedrooms and a beautiful spa bathroom with body jetted shower and jacuzzi tub for the master bedroom. The kitchen is gorgeous and has a large island that seats 4-5 people comfortably, excellent appliances like a new 36 inch Wolf stove, Electrolux fridge, etc.. and opens up to the dining room (seats 6-8 with plenty of room) and 1920 piano. The front porch is perfect for reading in the evening and enjoying the tranquility of those beautiful Vancouver evenings.

The lot is 138 ft long which is large for Vancouver's standards and the backyard has a small playground and children will love it. The house also comes with a two bedroom full suite (apartment) with separate kitchen, bathroom and ground level entrance on the lower level. In total, this home can easily accomodate 6-8 people.

We are only two blocks away from Main St; one of the most vibrant and exciting spots in Vancouver, filled with shops, restaurants, antique stores, coffee shops and more. Our central location is perfect for exploring Vancouver and the surrounding areas. We are only a 5 minute car ride (or 20 minute walk) to downtown, seawall, Science World, Yaletown, etc...; 15 minutes by car to Kits Beach, English Bay, and 25 minutes by car to North Vancouver, Deep Cove, UBC, Jericho Beach, Spanish Banks, .

It is also very easy to drive to the various ferry terminals to take a ferry to Vancouver Island (Victoria, Naniamo, Tofino) or any of the many small islands up the Sunshine Coast. Driving up to Whistler on the famous sea-to-sky highway is one of the most beautiful drives on earth and takes about 2 hours from our house.

We are a family of four made up of: Tom (45) and Kerrie (37), who run a real estate brokerage on Main Street, close to their home and their children: Capri (8) and Bowen (5). We love Vancouver in the summer, especially enjoying the restaurants on Main St., roller blading around Stanley Park, hanging out at the local beaches, hiking and kayaking in North Van and doing side trips to Vancouver Island to visit Victoria and other destinations along the coast. Our house is also very close to a brand new community centre complete with indoor and outdoor pools, gym, library and indoor skating rink.
