OUR APARTMENT
Located on the third floor (with lift) of a modern and secure building, the apartment is cosy, bright, calm, comfortable and surrounded by trees. It is 100 sq meters.
The living room has a view on the boulevard (balcony) and is south oriented.
The 3 bedrooms overlook the courtyard garden and are north oriented (the master bedroom has a double bed and the two children rooms have single beds - one is a bunk bed; possibility to add a mattress if you need an extra bed for a third child).
The kitchen is fully equipped (dish-washer, washing machine, oven, cooktop, fridge, micro-wave, coffee machine, robot, etc.).
One bathroom (with dryer), one shower room, independent WC.

OUR NEIGHBORHOOD
Our apartment is located on the left side of the Seine, in a calm and versant neighborhood at the edge of the 5th and 6th arrondissement. It is only a 15 minutes walk (or 5 minutes with the tube/bus) to Montparnasse, jardin du Luxembourg, Saint-Germain des Prés, Pantheon, la Sorbonne…
You will find in close proximity all transports you may need to to easily explore Paris and its surroundings (tube station, bus and RER Denfert-Rochereau, bicycle and car rentals/per hour), as well as shops and typical Parisian markets (rue Daguerre and rue Mouffetard) !!

As for our first exchange, we would like to spend 2 or 3 weeks in New York and neighborhood in August 2013.
But we are also open to any other destination, from 2 to 3 weeks in August.
Pour notre premier échange, nous souhaiterions passer 2 à 3 semaines à New York et dans ses environs en août 2013.

Sacha (12 years old) who is going to middle school and plays basketball (and is dreaming to go to NY to hopefully see a real match!).
Bénédicte (40 years old) who runs a small publishing house and Nicolas (41 years old) who runs his own company specializing in bedding.
We love to travel as a family and cannot wait to try this new way of traveling, meet new people and discover new cultures. Our home is your home !
