If you enjoy big and busy resorts, St. Luc is NOT the place you are looking for and you should not read on !

On the other hand if you enjoy nature at it's best in a quaint Swiss Alp village full of traditions, perched on a beautiful sunny terrace at 1640 meters (5500 feet) with stunning views on peaks up to 4000 m (including the famous Matterhorn) - our apartment might just be were you want to spend your vacation.
St. Luc is a CHARMING mid-size resort which offers great skiing, snowboarding, ice-skating and snowshoeing as well as walking possibilities in the winter and beautiful hiking and climbing experiences for all tastes and ages in the summer.

Our duplex apartment in St. Luc is our vacation "nest" where we love to escape from our busy valley lives in Geneva.
The whole south front of our 2 story apartment is made of high glass windows, making you feel like you are part of the majestic mountain panorama all around you.
On the ground floor we have a spacious open living-dinning around a Swedish stove and a fully equiped kitchen. (dishwasher, microwave etc) .
The apartment very comfortably accommodates 6 persons, but can fit up to 8 pers with its three bedrooms and 2 baths and the extra double pull-out couch on the mezzanine.
Please click on the additional photos to see the full floor plans. You will see that there is a small balcony on the south side where we often eat or rest, bathed in the sun in summer and often in winter as well!
Our building includes a total of nine apartments (our duplex is on the top floor) . On the bottom floor you will find a communal washer and dryer.
We also have our own private garage and a ski locker at the bottom station of the Tignousa cable car - both really convenient.

Our apartment is situated on a quiet private street at the entrance of the village of St. Luc. The postal bus and the free ski-pickup bus are just 3 walking minutes from our front door. There is a good hotel-restaurant,(take out food and WI-FI internet connection) at the same distance. All the other stores and facilities are located in the centre of the old village (10 walking minutes uphill, 3 minutes by car) .

St. Luc is located just 2 hrs by car from Geneva and its international airport. You can also reach St. Luc by train and postal car, which makes it a good starting point to explore not only the lake of Geneva region http: //www. lake-geneva-region. ch but other parts of Switzerland, close by Italy and all of Europe.

Gregory 69 is a retired mechanical engineer and his life-partner Mireille 63 also just retired as medical assistant. Together we have 4 grownup children and 2 grandchildren who live too far from us: in California USA.
We are both non-smokers and we like to take good care of our homes and of yours, of course! We are Swiss and speak Swiss-German and French together, but are also fluent in English. Mireille lived 2 years in Rome and speaks Italian as well.
We have both travelled and lived abroad a fair deal and now have enjoyed 10 very inriching home-exchanges. Puerto Rico, 2 x Paris, Rome,Toscana, London, Carmel California,Hawaii,Cinque Terre, Madrid..all justover the past 2 years. What will be next?

Our hobbies are hiking, skiing (down hill and cross country), back-packing, sailing, photography, gardening, cultural events and travelling of course. We are fascinated by getting to know new places, cultures and people. We strongly believe that such exchanges can be a small contribution towards mutual understanding and peace between nations. This is why, if you arrive from abroad, we would gladly welcome you into our Geneva home, before you would continue on to our mountain apartment in St.Luc.
