Nuestra casa
Situated on a small pond, our house is in a quiet safe neighborhood with 100 year old trees just footsteps from the beautiful Hudson River and an easy train ride to Manhattan. Made famous by Washington Irving, our area is filled with history and beautiful old homes including the Rockefeller home, Kuykuit. Our house has three levels with views of a pond and its wildlife. It is convenient to golf, shopping, and many historic sights in the Hudson Valley.

Nuestro barrio
Our house is situated in a lovely neighborhood that abuts the Rockefeller Preserve where it is possible to walk, ride horses, and birdwatch. Nearby is the Pocantico Church with the Chagall windows and Kuykuit, the home of David Rockefeller. This part of the Hudson Valley is peppered with lovely old historic homes open to the public. In the Fall and Spring it is a botanic dream. We walk to the train to Manhattan, a beautiful ride along the Hudson River to access all the excitement of New York City while having a peaceful place to retreat. Golf is nearby as is the beautiful new concert hall designed by Geary at Bard College.

Our names are Charles and Kristen. We have one daughter who is currently a senior at Princeton University. Charles is British by birth and went to university in Canada. Kristen is originally from Colorado. We are both semi-retired from international jobs that took us to many parts of the world but we still have many places we would like to visit. Charles is a forester by profession and Kristen a political economist who also works on women's rights. Our home reflects our travels and our eclectic comfortable style.
