The 35-story highrise in Sydney (north) suburb of St Leonards is a local landmark that can be seen from miles away. There is a fully equipped gymnasium (with treadmills, bikes, eliptical machines, a rower, fit-balls as well as free and fixed weight machines); a 25m heated indoor pool and spa; undercover parking and shopping all within the building.
There is security/concierge at the front reception desk.
The apartment has ducted air conditioning.
We have two bedrooms, the main with a queen-size bed, and the second smaller bedroom has twin king single beds. Our sofas can convert to beds too. There are two bathrooms; fully appointed kitchen; internal laundry with washer and dryer; and an open plan living area. Cable TV, DVD with lots of movies, iPod Hi-Fi with thousands of songs loaded (or why not bring your own iPod). Laptop with wifi internet. There is also a coffee machine.
There is a lock-up garage which you can park a car should you decide to bring one (not really needed given you have access to all of Sydney via pubic transport from our doorstep).
Access to all floors is by security swipe card only.

The apartment is built directly above a major train station and offers easy access by train or bus to all of Sydney’s spectacular attractions as well as the airport. Basically ride the lift to the ground floor of the building and you are just steps away from the train platform and direct access to everything Sydney has to offer.
We are two blocks from Crows Nest, one of Sydney’s chic dining districts, and within about a mile radius of our apartment there are more than 130 cafes and restaurants, diverse enough to satisfy the most fussy eater and symbolic of Australia's multicultural society.
In addition, a Supermarket, chemist, ATM machines, bakery, coffee shops, cafes, florist, dry-cleaners, liquor store and numerous fast food outlets (McDonalds etc) are located in a plaza (known as the Forum) on the ground floor of our building.

We are now booked out for 2013, but happy to discus 2014 possibilities. Preferably within Australia.
We are experienced exchangers, in our 40s, non-smokers with no children. Beth works in accounts, while I, Matt, work in magazine publishing.
We have exchanged all over the world and had nothing but wonderful experiences.
While it's usually just the two of us, on occasion we are joined by friends on our adventures.
We are both fit and enjoy the outdoors exploring our new surroundings.
