The flat (75 mq)is located at the first floor of an ancient stone and wood building of local architecture (XVIII century). It lies at 1100 meters of altitude in a medieval centre. It is composed of a main bedroom and a little double room (2 separate beds); a comfortable bathroom and a wide living room with kitchen . It also has a nice balcony looking at the garden. TV, radio CD player,microonde,waschmachin, ski box, garage, lovely garden with barbecue.
Within 500 meters available supermarket, butchery, café, restaurants.

Challand St Anselme is located in the middle of Val D’Ayas, close to Switzerland and France and is in a perfect position for long walks and excursions:
•For people who love the mountains: several excursions can be done starting from points comprised within few km. You can walk along easy paths or steep ones, from low altitudes to high peaks. You can make free climbing, roped excursions and rafting, too. You will have the fascinating possibility of discovering one of the numerous lakes hided among the mountains, or of reaching chalets from which to enjoy unforgettable sightseeings. Our home lies in the Monterosa Ski complex.Monterosa ski won the "Best Upcoming Resort" at the World Snow Awards 2012. It comprises Champoluc and Antagnod, from where you can ski down to Gressoney and Alagna val Sesia; it is easy to reach Cervinia, where you will be able to ski also during the summer and to enjoy an unforgettable downhill to Zermat (Switzerland). In a few km there are Courmayeur and Chamonix: you will ski on the mont Blanc, the highest peaks of Europe! And don't lose La Thuile, from there you can reach the little S. Bernardo and skidown to La Rosiere (France). Visit also the National Park of Gran Paradiso and the one of Mont-Avic. In these uncontaminated scenery you will be able to walk along woods or ride bikes or horses.
•For people who love artistic places: Val D’Aosta offers a number of medieval castles (Issogne, Fenis, Nus, Verres, Sarre). Aosta city (45 min by car) is rich of roman and medieval history and arts. Turin is 1 hour highway, Milan 1 hour and a half, Geneve 2 hours.
•For people who are romantics:don’t lose a visit to Orta Lake or Maggiore Lake (both are 1 h distance) or to Annecy (1 h and a half).

Our family is composed of 4 people. My name is Franco, I am62 and I was an interior design, now in pension. My wife Enza, 62 years old too, is an accountant. We have 2 daughters: Serena (32 years old) is a doctor in Biology, while Stefania (25) is studying Biology at the University of Milan. We also have an old cat who, indeed, is not joining us during the exchange period.
Often we are not able to match our holiday periods, so that the number of people involved in the exchange will vary from 3 to 5 in dependence of the month.
We all love travelling, visiting artistic locations and discovering new places. In particular, we don’t like joining tour operator trips, preferring making new exciting experiences like the house exchange.
