Top-A-location mansion in Amsterdam. Nice house in the best part of Amsterdam. The famous Vondelpark, the Van Goghmuseum, the Rijksmuseum and the canals are just round the corner. Our street is located in the residential area behind the Concertgebouw (the famous Classic concertbuilding) and at the corner we have an exclusive fashionshoppingstreet, several groceryshops and a biological foodshop (our daily shop), typical Dutch cafe's with terrasses and restaurants.

Nuestro barrio
We live in the south-area of Amsterdam, in the very cultural heart with the famous musea, the canals and the center on walking distance from our home. Public transport (tram) is also just a few metres from our home and we have of course our bicycles for you.
You can drive to all nice spots in the Netherlands like the windmills with the Zaanse Schans, little Dutch villages like Volendam and Edam (Dutch cheese!) and the green heart (forests and tulipfields, just 1/2 an hour).

Nuestras fechas
We like to travel to Sardegna or the northcoast of Italy at the sea, this summer for 3 weeks somewhere between 21st July and 1st of september; we travel with four (with our two youngest kids).

We are Robert and Jacinta (Robert: publisher and sports-writer. Upcoming: the Rafael van der Vaart Glossy and Jacinta: cookbookauthor Puur Plantaardig (Gourmand World Cookbook Award Best Vegetarian Cookbook NL), editor in chief of two culinary e-zines www.devegetarier.nl and www.receptenweb.nl). We have four wonderful, very sweet children: two boys and two girls. Julius(16), Meijra (14), Bloeme (7) and Floris (5). We travel together in schoolholidays (but this year only with the two young ones) and ones a year 'mom and dad' likes to go for a few days to a European city (with or without the two eldest). We love specially the sea and warm (sub)tropical area's. For us home-exchange is a perfect opportunity to get in touch with other cultures. We think it's also good for our children to know more about living in other countries. We are very caring for your home and like to welcome you as friends. We own several second homes with the family in Holland and Switzerland, so we're used to take care with properties.
