Nuestra casa
Modern duplex condo in the heart of the city's South End. Downstairs there is a master bedroom with queen-size Tempurpedic and full bath and a second bedroom with 3/4 bath and sofa bed. Upstairs is a beautiful gourmet kitchen, a sunny living room with a large skylight, a cozy gas fireplace, and a dining room table that seats six. Climb another floor to a lovely roof deck with views of the city. A teak table and chairs on the roof deck also seats six. Our two inflatable beds could increase the sleeping space for your party. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the unit.

The South End of Boston is a beautiful old neighborhood of brick townhouses - most dating from the late 1800's. The area is residential but is also close to the business center and an easy walking distance to many of the city's best restaurants (there are dozens within a half mile radius), the Boston Symphony, the New England Conservatory, the theater district, galleries, and Newbury Street shopping. The stunning architecture of Copley Square and the shops of Copley Place (with a Neiman Marcus and a Barney's) are one and two blocks away. Public transportation is easily accessible - the T and Back Bay Station are less than one block away (hop on the T and arrive at Harvard Square or Boston Harbor in 20 minutes or board a train and be in New York City in 3 and half hours).

Garret is retired and Lyn works in higher education publishing. Food, wine, and art are some of our loves and our home features a well-equipped gourmet kitchen. Our families are in NYC and the Midwest (Chicago and Minneapolis/St Paul). We do a lot of travelling to visit them so trades in these cities are welcome. In addition, we love to explore the world whenever we have the chance and we especially enjoy travelling in wine country. We hope to get to Alsace and the Mosel Valley, Chile, South Africa, and Australia within the next few years. We are open to weekend exchanges within a three-hour drive or flight from Boston.
This is our primary home but, non-simultaneous exchanges are possible for us at some times of the year since we travel often.
